Wildwood Community
Wildwood is a community nestled high above the river overlooking Edworthy Park in just West of down town Calgary. Wildwood was first developed in 1956 and has a large number of original owners who settled here 49 years ago and are still living in the neighbourhood. The Real Estate Market in Wildwood has increased in value dramatically over the past 10 years largely due to the proximity to down town, the mature trees, parks and pathways that surround this neighbourhood.
Wildwood also boasts a strong community association that works closely with Calgary Parks and Recreation as well as City Hall.
I have lived in this neighbourhood for 10 years, and can not think of another area in Calgary that I would choose to live in.
